TYPE
Dry red wine.

TERRAIN
Medium white limestone mix, 350 meters above sea level.

HARVEST
During the last ten days of September the bunches are selected, hand-picked and placed in plateaux.

TRAINING SYSTEM
Guyot and simple pergola.

BLEND
65% Corvina, 25% Corvinone, 10% Rondinella.

VINIFICATION
Bunches are left to ventilate naturally for a few days.
Low temperature fermentation and maceration, with daily remontages and delestages. Malolactic fermentation in small steel tanks. Ageing for about 15 months in French barriques and amphorae.

AGEING
24 months in bottle. Closure with natural cork.

TASTING
Colour: medium intensity ruby red with strong transparency tendent to garnet throughout aging.
Bouquet: ripe red fruit, black cherries, spicy notes of cinnamon and black pepper.
On the palate: fine and silky tannins, good acidity with a long and savory finish.

Alcohol: 14,5%.
Total acidity: 6,4 g/L.
Residual sugar: 0,6 g/L.

Product size: 750 ml – 1,5 liter mag – 3,0 liter.
